Capercaillie & Black grouse hunting in swedish Lapland
Experience traditional winter hunting for capercaillie and black grouse in the snowy forests of Swedish Lapland
Experience one of northern Sweden’s most traditional and challenging winter hunts – hunting capercaillie and black grouse in the vast, snow-covered forests of Swedish Lapland.
We hunt on approximately 4,500 hectares of private hunting grounds, where we search for capercaillie and black grouse feeding in the treetops. Moving through the winter landscape on skis, we use binoculars to locate the birds before carefully planning a stalk to get within shooting distance.
This is a true wilderness experience where the hunt itself is only part of the adventure. Expect beautiful winter scenery, deep snow, silence and the possibility of temperatures well below freezing.
Accommodation is available in simple wilderness cabins located directly within the hunting area. The cabins have no electricity or running water, offering an authentic stay in the Swedish wilderness. A traditional wood-fired sauna is also available.
The hunt is suitable for hunters looking for a genuine Scandinavian hunting experience and a challenging way to hunt capercaillie and black grouse in their natural winter habitat.
